The tool allows customer pricing details to be pulled up according to a number of search criteria. Other price options available to customers, based on their location, are also available.

Spectra Data has built a tool so call-centre staff can log re-connection requests, which are then passed to external electricity contractors and lines companies. The new web-based system has replaced a paper-based system that was slow and error-prone.

Spectra Data built a tool allowing all software changes within the company to be tested in a controlled manner prior to going live. Each test step is recorded and tested according to the test plan created for that component. This was a Windows Form .Net 2.0 application.

Spectra Data was involved in the development of the customer facing website for TrustPower’s new phone and internet products, along with the back office administration intranet pages for the provisioning team. The website and intranet applications were built in ASP.NET 2.0 and the back end workflow process was written with SQL Server Integration Services using a mixture of standard SSIS controls, managed code, stored procedures and XML.

Call-Centre Contact Resolution

The Contact Resolution application is used in TrustPower’s call centre to resolve customer requests. If a customer service staff member is unable to resolve the customer’s issue it is then escalated to the relevant department’s helpdesk. This was a .Net 3.5 Windows Forms application using LINQ for data access.
